Social Concerns Committee: St. Vincent DePaul Society Orientation

All parishioners interested in helping our parish re-establish our St. Vincent DePaul Society chapter are invited to join members of the Social Concerns Committee in attending a day long St. Vincent DePaul Ozanam Orientation at Resurrection Parish in Ellicot City, Md. on October 19. The orientation topics will include Vincentian spirituality and history; best practices of service; Society structures; and available resources. The St. Vincent DePaul Society has been assisting the underserved and the poor for more than 180 years in parishes around the world. Some transportation is available.
